I love the whole concept of Mindfulness, it’s profoundly simple, yet we make it complicated. I came across this recently by Buddhist teacher Tilopa; maybe if you write them on a card and refer to them often throughout your day it will help you to live more in the now!
Don’t recall– let go of what has passed
Don’t imagine– let go of the future
Don’t think– let go of what is happening now
Don’t examine– don’t try to figure anything out
Don’t control– don’t try to make anything happen
Rest– relax right now and rest
